Location Details:

Often called St.Catharines Airport, Niagara Regional is actually in Niagara-on-the-Lake and serves the north part of the Niagara Penninsular (Welland is further south for more southern cities and towns Like Ft.Erie etc.).

Niagara Regional is a good size with three runways and decent parking space. There are several providers on the Ramp - but (as of Feb 2010) no restaurant.

Close-by is Niagara-on-the-Lake which is extremely scenic and has several historic attractions, Niagara Falls with it's attractions and Casinos as well as St.Catharines, the largest city in this area.

There are loads of taxis around and good parking at the airport. The terminal is older and a little small, but works well and the people are great.
